Danks Street Diner

Had lunch here on Sunday. I had a ploughman's lunch which was ok but not imaginatively presented. Big pile of ham and beef in the middle on top of some rocquet with cornichons, raisin chutney, cheddar and soft boiled eggs. There was not enough bread (as usual) and it definitely did not taste like sourdough. Eggs were done very well and the meat was fine. My boyfriend had the chicken schnitzel burger with chips which he said was also average, although presentation was bit more modern. Overall, ok but not worth re-visiting. (Service was good though).

I was searching for a sweet breakfast before the Hillsong Church service and we founded this trendy place just in front of the church.. We had a cappuccino and a brioche.. Both warm and sweet with big portions.. Cheap prices but lounge both out and indoor seats.. Recommended!!

Friendly staff, positive environment, with inside and outside options. reasonable menu and food was very good. Coffee was good enough to buy some beans to take home interstate! Had a good selection of gluten free options! Yay!

Fun place to eat lunch. The sandwich selection was interesting, and all pronounced very good. A great beer offered here, the James Squire One Fifty Lashes Pale Ale. Near the Danks Street art galleries. Réservez une table maintenant

Good quality food. A little too much salt though. We went several times during our stay at the Meriton and then again a few weeks later after we picked our daughter up from the airport.

Soup and a salad for lunch. Both were good but nothing to write home about. The ambience wasn't great as only two tables were occupied. Staff seemed friendly enough.

This is really a 3.5 but I can't bring it to give them a 4 stars just yet I went here for brunch with a girlfriend on Sunday morning.

Great breakfast choices with nice cup of freshly brewed coffee is definitely a good start for a business day
