Del Fuego is a fun place with good Mexican food, and a rustic atmosphere...music, TV's, very informal outside dining and cozier back dining room, which is quieter for conversations, and the hearing impaired. It is in the Hewitt Shopping Center in East Northport, on the Southwest corner of Pulaski and Larkfield Rd. The bar area was extremely loud, but our charming hostess walked us to a table in the back dining room. We immediately received a basket of taco chips, and sauce. After reading postive news , and went tonight for dinner and we are not disappointed. It's gem in the neighborhood. Beautiful ambiance, everything decorated western style. Staff was smiling and welcoming. We ordered Elote , street style corn, buffalo wings with El Diablo seasoning, tropical guacamole. All the appetizer was so good and delicious . Then we ordered buffalo chicken burrito with spicy fries and taco trio, with shrimp, mahi mahi and tuna and margrita .Again everything was taste so good. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Note. Be careful while ordering El Diablo wings, they were spoon hot and spicy.

I visited this restaurant 3 years ago and did not enjoy it. However, I decided to give it another try and was pleased to see that the service had improved. The server was friendly and efficient, and the hostess greeted us with a smile. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the food. The brisket was overly sweet, almost like the coke I ordered. It was difficult to finish. The tacos were soggy and bland. Surprisingly, the highlight of the meal was the kids' chicken tenders. Overall, the service was good but the food was lacking.

It's a neighborhood eatery. and have been here at least 4 other times.It's atmosphere is like a sport bar .. TVs all around . Tables and seating available. It has a Spanish Western motif very casual. My bf likes their fajitas , they have a good amount of drinks , nice menus.I always have a good vegan meal... they have vegan options. But burgers sandwiches all good . Meh. Expensive for the quality of food. Service staff seemed stressed and overwhelmed. Loud dining area with tight seating. At the first meal in the restaurant, as we only ordered during the pandemic. Drink menu is really good, like all food. The salsa is homemade and is wonderful although when you eat in it give you too little of it. Had to refill a few times. Steak Fajitas were really good. Going back

Every time I come here, I have to get the Fajitas, but there are other great selections on the menu, including some really good nachos. In addition, the chips that come out at the table have the best homemade salsa i've had anywhere. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
