The food was outstanding. However, the customer service could use some improvement, possibly due to COVID-19 and some new staff. If you're planning to order ahead, allow an extra 10 to 15 minutes. Both the beef brisket and turkey dishes were excellent, and the fried okra and cream spinach were simply fantastic. You might want to consider getting dessert elsewhere. I will definitely return and hope to give a five-star rating on my next visit.
From Indiana with love in our hearts, we absolutely enjoyed every bite! Everything was delicious and perfect. We sampled nearly everything on the left side of the menu, and it was fantastic! The staff were friendly and incredibly patient with us since we were unfamiliar with their offerings. We can’t wait to return to Dickie's in the future!
I visited on Veterans Day and was pleased to receive my complimentary pulled pork sandwich. The staff member, Javier, was a kind gentleman who took my order and engaged in friendly conversation. The diner is small and has limited staff, but luckily, there weren't many customers at 4:00 PM. Since I live nearby, I plan to come back again.

On a positive note, the waffle fries with spicy BBQ sauce were delicious if you enjoy a little heat. I also tried the chopped brisket sandwich with regular BBQ sauce, and it was really tasty. The mac and cheese is very cheesy and quite good too! And don't forget to try the cornbread! Overall, it's definitely a place worth visiting!
There was a hair in my EXTREMELY over salted and basically meatless wings. They were so bad I couldn?t finish them. The fries were so old tasting. I had gotten regular mac n cheese out there was pork in it. Would not recommend to anyone.
The manager or owner was unpleasant, introducing himself as a retired LAPD officer, which felt more like a tactic to impress or intimidate customers. The service was incredibly slow, and the food was mediocre at best.
I've visited Dickey's Barbecue Pit for lunch before, but this time we ordered from their catering menu for a party. The meat was incredibly flavorful, juicy, and fresh.
