Listen! This place is absolutely amazing. Whenever I’m in NJ, I always make this a food stop. I love the chicken fantasia, but I promise you that you will love almost anything Mario creates. You can tell that he loves his Italian roots and pours all of his love into the food he makes! When he is working, he almost always makes an appearance. It’s like having a cook in the family. By the way, if you are in the area in Autumn... Trust me, indulge yourself with some of his homemade pumpkin cheesecake! It’s the BEST! And don’t even get me started on his Nutella cheesecake. I know I sound like a commercial, but it really is that good!
Divina is the second. Mario and his entire staff are excellent. The food is excellent. The family setting offers a comfortable culinary experience. You have the best freshly cut Calamari in the world. Everything is homemade with love as the Grandma used to do. I recommend Divina, a fine culinary experience, a true taste of Italy in Caldwell, NJ.
