"As a last minute staycation this place was great! From checking in to checking out everyone was kind and friendly. Rita at the front desk was awesome! Great location right on the beach. The drinks and food at the pool side bar were great. The unexpected amenities were a pleasant surprise. Will definitely be coming back soon!"

Rita was very helpful at check in! Very accommodating and kind. The kid that works in the evening however, should not be representing the hotel at all. His name is Ray, he is beyond rude. Shockingly so.I can’t believe any respectable place would allow him to work the desk alone at all, let alone on a big holiday like Labor Day. He treated us terribly and he is the only reason we left and got a full refund from the 3rd party site. We have stayed at hundreds of hotels , because we are such great guests and customers of Hotel Tonight, we were able to get a refund. We didn’t stay the night at this hotel, it was THAT BAD! we checked out 8 pm after checking in at 3pm. It was truly awful the way th...

This resort is a good example of meeting in the middle. While it 's not full of amenities there are some options and nor is it lacking in everything. If you 're looking for reasonably affordable place with direct access to the beach with a pool in-between? Look no further. If you 're wanting to have massages and high end rooms look elsewhere so you don 't book here and complain about it.The resort is seated right next to public beach access. Unfortunately while there are cones placed along the beach to keep the resort side more inclusive there is a spill over onto the resort side. There was effort to inform those individuals, but I believe this should be monitored more. I know I 'm not paying...

I do recommend a family vacation spot. It's not a bad spot and for August. We had a balcony view of the beach gulf. The staff were polite helpful. We heard good reviews about the food their but our experience did not match some of bartenders made some, not too good drinks, more like flavored water. But over all, we enjoyed our stay. It's a convenient location for family vacation. Across the street is a plaza; coffee, sweets, groceries, medicine, boat tours. I do recommend a family vacation spot.

Privately owned local hotel/resort! Enjoyed the 2 night stay over Labor Day weekend. Rooms were adequate and clean! In room disposable amenities were very cheap. Parking was a little rough late at night. AC blows ice cold. Definitely needs updating to current industry standards. Pretty hard to swallow based on the $1000 price tag for really a 2 star hotel. Location is what drives up cost.
