The inaccuracies in these reviews are unbelievable. Who would combine Asian stir fry with a Mexican burrito? That's just one of the many questions I have. Also, why were my pupusas burnt? And why would someone put rice and beans in a quesadilla without it being requested? I have been to many Mexican restaurants and have never seen that before. If I didn't live so far away, I would have returned my food, but I guess I'll just have to accept the loss. I have never seen a CARROT in a burrito before, what is this? I will not be returning to this restaurant, it's a disappointment and not a true representation of the world we live in. Just overall disappointing.

While it may not be your typical sit-down restaurant experience, the Al Pastor burrito stole the show. It was packed with flavor and definitely worth every penny. The papusas were another highlight; they were delicious and satisfying.The staff was friendly, and my order was ready on time, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Don Julio Restaurant is a solid choice for a quick bite or takeout in Somerville. I highly recommend trying their Al Pastor burrito—it's a must-have!
Tried my first pupusa here and my goodness was it delicious!! I didn't expect it to be so filling with the bean and cheese, I ended up only eating one of the two carne asada crispy tacos I ordered and had some leftover for lunch the next day! The crispy taco was super unique and better than a crunchy corn taco shell you typically get. Definitely will come back here as a lunch option.
The beans taste old, like they use old beans and just add new beans to save money. I got super sick eating here and I will never come back because I wasn't the only one that got sick eating here from my group. The chicken and pineapple were very slimy which makes me want to throw up again, just talking about it.

Another 1:3 ratio of curtído served with the papusas. Not how they do it in El Salvador, that's for sure.
This might be the best burrito in Boston. Top tier. Also have breakfast and other Mexican plates.
