We visited Dono Sushi today and encountered the worst service we've ever experienced at a restaurant—this is not an exaggeration. Our server was incredibly rude and disrespectful, prompting us to leave before our meals even arrived. We've been patrons of this restaurant for over 20 years, and following this experience, we will not be returning. The owners should recognize that employees like this can severely harm your business. We have always cherished our visits here since our daughters were young, so it’s truly disappointing and sad to see things end this way.
We all ordered the salmon roll, which was absolutely delicious and tasted incredibly fresh—I could have easily eaten two plates of it! I also tried the yakisoba, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste; back in Hawaii, we usually enjoy it more savory.
To our delight, we were offered miso soup, which was a lovely touch on that cool evening. The service was excellent and prompt. I will definitely come back again the next time I visit family!
I can't believe how they have 4.4 star reviews. Their tonkotsu ramen smells so bad and you will lose appetite instantly. All of the shrimp tempura in the rolls were too old that they were soggy and smells like oil from 3 days ago.Never going back.
This place has really declined. The service is sluggish, and the food is just mediocre. The hot tea wasn't even hot; it was lukewarm. When we mentioned it to the server, they just shrugged it off and said that's how it is...

I've only visited once, but I'm already planning to return. The iced tea has a slightly earthy flavor, but if you're a fan of Udon tea, I'm sure you'll enjoy this one as well.
I am a regular here and I think this restaurant's ROLL is the best in CHINO HILL.Yesterday I ate DONO BOAT and it was delicious but the portion size was great.
