Dorfhaus Thalkirchdorfer

The meals are lovely, prepared of fresh ingredients and are served quickly. We ordered 1x beef with green beans, fried onions and spätzle for 19,90€, 1x cheese spätzle with salad for 9,90€, 1x radler and 3x home lemonade. Paid 40€ altogether. The service is very good as well. We liked the grocery shop inside of the house very much. Bought several types of local cheese, ham and farm eggs. Will be back! :

Had dinner twice in this charming house. Service a bit rough, but friendly after a while and very acceptable. Good portions at a decent price with a total of good quality. Enjoy the asparagus salad and the wobbly roasted, excellent piece of meat. The house wines are also of good quality. So enjoy the experience as a whole.

We had local food, surprisingly done and served (Bergkässchnitzel in hazelnut coat with fig sauce and small salad, 12.50€ . The staff is friendly, the location well above our expectations for a village house (Dorfhaus). A timely reservation is recommended especially in the evening.

A perfect Bavarian Inn is located in a small hamlet outside of Oberstaufen . Sit inside or outside, both pleasant and with excellent service. We had a spinach pasta and wild boar sausage for lunch, perfect. The small shop is excellent for cheese and other products.

Very good restaurant with typical dishes from the wonderful Allgaü region. Summer or winter at any time is good to visit it.
