Downriver Brewing Co.

I was coming into go to Downriver. I witnessed a very uptight owner asking a homeless woman what she was doing. She tried to explain that her husband was in the hospital but the uptight owner said she only had 10 minutes to power her phone. Then walked away. The woman was about in tears. I turn around left. If that is how the owner treats another human being then he can go f himself. I refuse to eat in a place that treats another human being like that no matter if they're homeless or not. People are still human.

There is an entrance out front on the main road but it is slightly difficult to find. Google maps will take you to the alley behind. Stopped in for a couple of beers on my way to visit a friend. Cool setup with the axe throwing (you need a reservation) and a bunch of other bar games. Beers were good, Gimmie a Zimmie (pictured below) is a great summer thirst quenching beverage.

Amazing place. Was visiting here for a concert, and the workers gave us their undivided attention, served great food, and even better drinks. You have to try their beer that tastes like root beer- absolutely amazing. Would definitely return if I ever make my way back to stroudsburg again.

Beer here is awesome! Cool little place tucked in the back of Main Street. Really appreciate the patience the bartender had as my son was running around! Excited to go back and try some of the food.

Great beer and great staff. Always make a point to stop here when in the area
