Referring to other reviews, I can confirm that the interior has a distinct odor reminiscent of a restroom. This place definitely falls under the category of a dive bar, featuring a rough men’s restroom and a dim, musty atmosphere. While I’m not certain if this is strictly a cleanliness issue, it seems there are definitely shortcomings, whether it’s using dirty rags to clean surfaces, neglecting to clean the drink wells, or serving stale beer. I don’t have experience running a bar, but if this establishment were just 20% cleaner, it could easily earn a 4-star rating. I wish the owner the best; I’m sure this place has had its moments of success in Allston/Brighton.
Best door man ever. Dude was getting the entire bar hyped listening to high school musical 2. That takes a certain type of hypeman. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it smelled like a 4 year old piece of cheese in this place. Being from Wisconsin, an afficionado of cheese, I can appreciate a good cheese smell but not from a bar. Will definitely be back cheese smell and all.
On the earlier side, great spot for dinner. Solid menu and beer selection. Great cheap specials Sunday through Thursday. On the later side, especially on weekends, pretty rockin spot. Couple of bar games and a pool table. Overall a good allston
energy in the air that made it a lively atmosphere. The food was delicious and the drinks were well-made. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a good time.

Hit Boston Hemp Inc. Dispensary grabbed some fire bud and edibles then went here for a nightcap. Place was solid, didn't get any good but drinks were great for my buzz. Would go back. Great crowd

I returned to this restaurant during phase 2 and was impressed by their beautiful patio, which is one of the few (if not the only one) in the Allston area.
The place it's really dangerous, me and my friend had a very bad experience there, if u are woman, take my advice and never go there.
