Dubbing Good Food

Been many times before, today was a disaster from go! First the waitress asked if my partner wanted bacon on a vegan burger, then brought tap water with a dirty jug full of bits. Then they brought my Childs meal which was covered in salt. Then they brought my Chicken burger with a missing extra piece of chicken. When asked how long it would take to rectify, the waitress simply said I dunno and walked off. leaving me there with no food while my child spat out the overly salted chips in disgust. Honestly I was outraged, we stood up and left. The service was below acceptable and the place was empty... so no excuse for rubbish service. No apology or anything. The owner is brilliant, when we have been in the past they did everything to make us welcome. We ended up going to Sarco lounge instead and was instantly blown away with the difference of service. I recommend not leaving young staff to run a reputable business. We won 't be back after such shocking service, we were trying to celebrate our 10 Year anniversary... which didn 't go to plan. Fantastic family meal. They were running a great offer where kids menu items were free with every adult meal, excellent value. My burger and chips came with a great side salad and slaw. Chops were lovely and crispy. Great chicken burger also. Everyone had a great meal. Didn't enjoy. Spent ages waiting for food, fair enough there was a party upstairs but we could have been told before we ordered as this may have altered our order. Asked for water, didn't get any. Asked for some napkins, didn't get any. The girl kept leaving the door open and it was freezing inside. Really nice place. Menu’s a bit more imaginative than the norm, enjoyed their Hangover Hash. Good beer too. Paulaner on draft. Friendly service. Definitely recommend. Dogs welcome as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
