Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub

During a family reunion in Whistler, we all had lunch at Dubh Linn Gate. The food tasted fantastic and the service was great! I had the lettuce wrap appetizer. I was expecting to receive the ingredients and lettuce leaves to make my own creation. Unfortuanylet I received only 4 lettuce leaves premade. Although they tasted amazing, it was not enough and I do enjoy creating my own. The group was a total of 13 people and we sat on the patio! Great place for a drink and a bite to eat. Our food was great and the price wa reasonable. The only draw back which annoyed my husband more than me was the fact there was no Guinness on draught. Being from Northern Ireland we found this very odd. There was Guinness stout but that was it. My husband had some other ale I believe but it would have been nice to have a taste of home. Otherwise a great establishment!

As per the server, the yam tacos contain dairy in the tortilla and the veggie burger is not suitable for vegans. This leaves us with the choice of the falafel burger or the west coast salad. The salad, at least, is delicious and includes quinoa and chickpeas. (Updated from a previous review on February 11, 2024).

We had a really good meal at this restaurant and the service was good as well.They had a happy hour (5-7pm) which made the drinks a little bit cheaper and they had some really good local craft beers.All the food was really good and the prices compared quite favourably with the rest of Whistler. We visited this restaurant three times while we were in Whistler. The jackfruit tacos were our favorite, but there were plenty of other options as well. The service was good and they served a pretty decent pint of Guinness. The location is right near all the chairlifts.

I ordered the Veggie Curry, which I found to be enjoyable. It was a bit on the plain side, but I decided to add some sliced avocado on top. Additionally, they brought half of a dry ciabatta bread, which helped make the meal more filling.

Stayed in the Pan Pacific hotel and ate at the pub. The food was amazing. Sat on the patio with great atmosphere and amazing views.

We sat and were served promptly ,had the fish and chips special and it was ok . Beer was great service was great wifi was ****! Réservez une table maintenant

Great food and great atmosphere. Warm feel on a cold winters day. Always managed to find a table although it was always busy.
