This place being the oldest diner in New Jersey (1925), walking in was like stepping back in time. The man running the place was very nice, it was fun and enjoyable having a conversation with him. It was great as my friend and I sat at the counter watching our food being cooked on the grill right in front of us. My friend ordered their stuffed pancakes, and they were as big as a flying saucer! I had the standard sunny side eggs, toast, bacon and sausage. Everything was delicious and had that classic old time diner taste we all remember. My friend and I are definitely going back there again very soon as it was that enjoyable.

The staff treats you like family and shows great respect for their customers. However, while the nostalgic charm is delightful, there's definitely room for improvement when it comes to hygiene. The food is prepared without gloves and proper sanitation, so it would be nice to see more focus on cleanliness. Overall, the atmosphere is incredibly friendly, and I hope this feedback helps to enhance the experience even further!
I visited this place for the first time this past Sunday since I work right next door and let me tell you ??? AMAZING FOOD, AMAZING SERVICE EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! the kids there were so polite and so was the chef making the food right in front of me !!!! Hashbrowns are my favorite diner food and I have never had better than those! It’s great to know this place has been open forever and I can definitely see why! Keep up the good work ?
I had a wonderful breakfast at this charming diner, which is filled with memorabilia and the oldest in Bergen County. I enjoyed a blueberry pancake (I was thrilled to see that the blueberries were organic), along with a fried egg and Canadian bacon. My husband had one of the best BLTs he has ever tasted. The owner was extremely welcoming and made our experience even better.

So delicious and friendly I recommend it if you want a truly American breakfast. If there's a taste of old American grandma's cooking, this is it. The hotcakes, bird's nest, Caesar salad wrap, and omelet were all perfect. I will never forget the morning coffee and friendly service. I plan to visit again.
This retro diner offers delicious food and has a unique decor. However, the restroom is quite small and not suitable for those with disabilities or anyone who is overweight. Parking is available across the street, but there is no wheelchair accessibility.
It takes you back to a time long gone. The family owned business is lovingly cared for by the Chef Loui who custom makes every dish requested. Reasonably priced and easy to find.
We had such a nice breakfast here, the food was fantastic and the gentleman working was so kind to us and our kids. A real gem in our community! The BEST spinach feta omelette!!

It needs to be cleaned wen u talk about oldest diner yes smells looks like an old diner they need to clean it up like new paint clean the floors .
