Eagle's Nest Bar & Grill

We were out for a drive in the country on a sunny late summer day and decided to stop at the Golden Eagles Golf Club for lunch. We sat at a table on the patio to take advantage of the sunshine and the golf course view. The chef was new that day and there were a few delays and mix-ups with our order but lunch was very good when it finally arrived. The yam fries were especially delicious, piping hot and with a very good dipping sauce, just the right amount of spicy heat. There were several large tables of golfers so service was a little slow but it was a lovely day to sit and enjoy a cold beer while we waited. We would recommend the Eagle's Nest as a destination for lunch in Pitt Meadows.

My cousin recommended we stop at this restaurant on our way to Whistler because she has heard great things about it. I would also agree with her statement.

The food is delicious! The restaurant has a fantastic location with a view of the river. It's a great spot to bring visitors from outside the city.

This little venue is just a few minutes from our house, normally we come to enjoy a pleasant round of golf
