Holy smokes so far, the best Enceballdo soup I have had in NJ/NY area. Tostones were also a hit. If you read my reviews, you know I'm a well traveled white boy from JC NJ. Married to a bodiqua from Brooklyn. So I know latin food. The only thing I don't like is adding the tip on the total bill. This really bothers me when places do this. They will lose business because of this. Owner I would rethink your tip policy.
Our new favorite Ecuadorean spot. The cazuela de pescado is the best I have had with such a depth of flavor. Fresh squeezed juices (orange/carrot and passionfruit), great coffee, hayacas and humitas. The service was friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to trying their bolones, we will be back soon. Don't hesitate and take a chance on this unassuming restaurant. I ordered two cortados today, but what I received was espresso overwhelmed by milk, even after explaining that I wanted equal parts of both. Additionally, there was way too much sugar added. Some of us appreciate the flavor of coffee and don’t want it masked by excessive milk and sugar. Overall, I'm quite disappointed with the result as it felt like a waste of money.

They overcharge you if you use your card, adding an extra 20% without customers being aware. My coworkers and I went for lunch, and the woman at the front tried to be sneaky by charging us more than what was actually totaled. I will never return, and I strongly recommend that you avoid this place.
Family owned. Very friendly and excellent food at a decent price. Very clean. Highly recommend. The Rice with Shrimp is well worth it. Lots of flavor. The Shrimp Cazuela is heaven.
