Eddie Burger & Bar

The food and customer service is EXCELLENT here. We ate here twice while here. Burgers were so flavorful with some unique options. The gluten free bun was so good that I asked twice if it was gluten free. Both times, I had the classic Eddie burger and substituted the Eddie sauce for chipotle mayo (SO GOOD). Hubby ordered the Stampeder (bison—order without the onion ring to be GF) one night and the real Hawaiian another night. He really enjoyed both. We ordered the sweet potato fries (shared fryer so not safe for celiacs) and it came with chipotle mayo. Highly recommend this place! Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures because I was diving into my burger both times!

This was my second time to Eddie, first as GF and I was not disappointed! Had the bison burger, without the onion rings BBQ sauce (server informed the BBQ wasn't GF). The burger was so flavourful, the bun was delicious. I got sweet potato fries (NOT a dedicated GF fried) but if you can have them highly recommend as they were delicious. Also highly recommend one of the milkshakes, alcoholic or not!

They offered GF buns and made sure to take a closer look at the all the burger ingredients so you knew what had gluten. They were very knowledgeable about the ingredients and let you know about them. Very yummy burger! I tried the Stampeder which was made from bison. Since I am not celiacs, I don’t know about cross-contamination.

Would not recommend if celiac! We visited twice, during our second visit we found out that our party had been glutened on the first visit. Also they charge to change from fries to a salad, not a fan of places that charge for a like for like replacement. Réservez une table maintenant

Burger was delicious and the rest of my non gluten free party was very impressed. However there was no gluten free menu or gluten free indicators on the menu. There was no gluten free fryer and they up charged to sub fries for a salad.

I had a burger on a gluten free bun with a side salad (no dedicated fryer for fries). Good quality and yum! A little pricier than your average burger place but pretty on par for Banff

They were very knowledgeable and made whatever burger you wanted gf. The fryer is not celiac friendly, but the burgers are delicious!

Excellent burger, the service was impeccable and the waiter was very good. The gluten free bun is excellent and not too dry.
