Food here is top notch, no idea how this place isn’t more busy than it is for it being so close to folly. The ahi seared tuna was amazing with appetizers and deserts mentioned by everyone else’s reviews living up to and or exceeding our expectations.Another unexpected surprise was the level of service. From the moment we walked in the door with a reservation to the moment weleft we had perfect service. We were seated immediately and you can tell it is a well experienced staff geared to make you feelwelcome while not being overly hovering. This was our first time to Folly beach. We wanted a nice restaurant to celebrate my son’s 21 st birthday. I can’t say enough good about this place and their entire menu ! We had charcuterie plate and then of the 6 of us we had soups Thai coconutwas fabulous. My son had gnocchi crab and it was fab. My husband green curry meatballs. The desserts were great too applefritters and key lime pie was really good. Paula was our server and she was wonderful on her timing to surprise our son withdesert and a song ! Wonderful restaurant! Loved the farmhouse atmosphere. Sommelier was very patient, kind and knowledgeable and helped us pick out delicious wines to go with our meals. Our waitress went above and beyond and helped us make sure we got good meals for me and myhusband with many allergies. She even offered to take our picture on the deck and give us a free dessert for our honeymoon. Wegot the shrimp cavatelli and the pan seared swordfish and it was delicious. The place was very inviting and highly suggeststopping by.
This place is ridiculously good. It's the type of place you don't want to review because you don't want anyone else to know about it. Sean always crushes services for us, top tier in every way. Wahoo, burger, short rib, chicken waffles all fantastic.Vibe is a pleasant mix of hip trendy meets home town country family. As I'm writing this I'm thinking to myself, should we gofor brunch right now or will they think it's wierd because we were there last night... I think you know my answer. Cheers!
