El Amate - Réserver une table

I didn't know this place was aimed for towards drinking (Cantina style). We came in for dinner with my fam bam and sat down and ordered by 8:00 pm, we got out food closer to 9:30 pm. I understand if they are busy and can't really do much without cooks (or so I thought was the problem, nobody ever said anything why they were taking so long). When the food finally came out, it was NOT worth the wait. I ordered the Lomo Saltado and it's probably the worse meal I've ever had in my restaurant experience. They were clearly shorthanded, that's why I didn't give them lower than 3 stars since I understand, but I won't be coming back.

eating was not so good, I ordered the carne asada tacos, but it had not tasted much. the waitress didn't check us all the time we were there. they were too busy talking to each other instead of helping their customers.

Fun, lively place. The food is good and authentic. This would be a great place to watch a soccer match.
