I found this restaurant on Yelp when I was searching for a Mexican restaurant near my hotel. Wanted to have some good California Mexican food before I headed back to Montana. This place did not disappoint! Everything about this place was awesome! The ambiance, the food, and the service. Our waitress was Tonya sorry if I misspelled that , who was as sweet and accommodating as could be. My friend asked if they had a hotter salsa than the one served with the chips and next thing we know she brought a sample of all of them! They were all delicious! I don't know about anyone else, but everyone I know judges a Mexican restaurant by the chips and salsa that are served. We were not disappointed. So...
I visited 'El Chilitos Mexican Restaurant' for the first time, and I have to say it's a fantastic family restaurant. As someone who is hard to please, I was genuinely impressed. I highly recommend it! The waitresses were attentive, frequently checking in on us to see if we wanted more chips, salsa, or drink refills. The service was excellent, and the food was top-notch as well. The Spanish rice had an authentic taste that reminded me of real 'red Spanish Rice,' and the salsa was also delicious. We enjoyed everything we ordered and will definitely be coming back!
Really good food. Great prices. I had the Vallarta Quesadilla with asada. This is probably one of the best quesadillas I've had, and I married a Mexican, so his Tias made me food dl the time from scratch. The hubby had Grandma's Enchiladas. He made alot of moaning sounds and ate all of it, so I would say top notch. I had the strawberry margarita, and had to order a post-meal one or was so good. The hubby had the lemon margarita, it was a nice change. Good mix with tequila and mix!! You have to try this place!!
I've been visiting this restaurant for years, and each time, the quality of the service and food is outstanding! The dishes are full of flavor and never greasy. The food is prepared quickly and served promptly by the friendly staff who make you feel right at home. It's a fantastic spot for authentic Mexican cuisine! I highly recommend it— we tried the carnitas, taquitos, and seasoned fries, and everything was excellent!
I will eat here again, but I will never order the chile rellenos. I dislike them just as much as my mother and my aunt, who owns a restaurant, do. When my aunt makes her version, it's just as disappointing. I didn’t pay to eat seeds, and it’s not just a few — there were about ten in my first bite. I do not recommend the chile rellenos unless you enjoy that kind of experience.
Dining here is an amazing experience! I’ve loved everything I’ve tried. Their homemade flan is absolutely fantastic—it's the best I’ve ever tasted. I also have to mention how wonderful the staff is; they are incredibly kind and welcoming. If you visit, you won’t regret it!
By far the best Mexican food I've ordered through Uber Eats! It was absolutely delicious, with a homemade flavor and feel. Whoever was cooking tonight deserves all the praise—truly talented! The food was fantastic, and the portion sizes were generous for the price.
