El Janneh in Granville is the quintessential Lebanese chicken joint and it never disappoints.Perpetually busy, frequented by locals and travelers from far and wide, the half-chicken, chips and garlic sauce is about as close to heaven as a connoisseur of chicken can get.Service can be a bit on the sharp side, mostly because this place is always busy but the food has never been a let down and given the output and atmosphere, you quickly forget about how quickly you were processed through the queue, especially when you dunk your first chunk of chicken in the best garlic sauce in Sydney.
I really enjoy going to El Jannah for dinner with family and friends. It has a good vibe and the food is honestly amazing.I wold recommend Chicken, Chips, Garlic Sauce, Hommus, Tabouli and the Pickles !!Theres only one small minor inconvenience I can think of and that is; they don't accept card, its a cash only place. They don't have a card swiper butthere is an ATM in the restaurant that surcharges $2.50
Am posting about their Punchbowl outlet. While parking was comparatively easier, the food quality and taste is inferior compared to their main outlet in Granville. And this was the unanimous verdict of all of us. The chicken was over cooked and dry and lacked the flavor found at the main outlet.Probably this explained the lack of customers at peak lunch hour that day.
Have been coming to El Jannah for many years and the quality has never wavered. Great service, great food, dine inside or outside or takeaway and still the best chicken rolls in Sydney. Worth the effort to seek out. Also their homemade garlic and chilli sauces are brilliant.

We always have a large group here and all the family is pleased. Something for everyone, young and old, vegetarian or carnivore. Healthy, fast, consistent and amazing traditional Lebanese cuisine. Feels like Lebanon, ummmmm but better!
We are not locals and were meant to go to another chicken place however our friend got the place wrong so ended up here. And glad that happened! It was delicious-the chicken was cooked to perfection and that garlic sauce! Yum!
Called in for lunch and it was very good. The food was well made and very tasty. I had 1/2 chicken and my wife had the kebabs.
I will never come back here again. The management should ban squirming kids and noisy people. It's a place not going for.

The best tasting grilled chicken you can buy. Freshly grilled, priced right, sides and dips are good too.
Love a bit of chicken bread and yummy garlic sauce. Food is always good tasty and has generous portions.
