El Tipico Mexican

The food is really solid staple tex mex but the main event is the margaritas. They come in ceramic mugs which makes a difference and there's something about the rim salt that is just better than other salt. Don't know what it is but it is delicious

Nice casual place. Nice expierience for a night out with the wife. food was delicious. was pretty busy so food took longer than expected but the singers kept us entertained. overall, was worth the drive coming from south chicago.

My husband and I found the meal quite flavorful and our waitress was very pleasant. We will recommend this place. Food was quite reasonable and were of generous serving.

El Tipico is still great even under new owners.Takes me back to college days.Now taking family is even better
