Recently me and my friend dined at the restaurant and we are regular customers there. We go there to eat chat sometimes. Today I went to the restaurant with my friend and we had a really really bad experience there. We had some food at the restaurant and we got the bill and we saw gratuity was added to the bill even without asking us. So we asked the person who serviced us, who is also at the reception to bill us, what it was and she said that it is the tip.we told her that she should have asked us before adding it to the bill and she gave us a lecture on American culture and said on our face that you should always tip in America and it's their culture. The mistake I made here was not being in a position to use leftovers (was leaving town and had no way to keep cold or heat up) the vegetarian combo platter was delicious, with many different components to try with the injeera. Was for sure enough to feed 2 people. It was very quiet when we went and had the place to ourselves but I would attribute that to time of year and day than anything else. Very good value for the money.
We just had lunch here. I ordered the Ethiopian lunch sampler and my husband got the curry lunch plate. The portions were huge- I have a good appetite but easily took home 2 more meal’s worth. It was fresh and very tasty! I got spice level 6/6 and most places that isn’t spicy for me but it lit me up here, so you may want to level down if aren’t a fan of . Worst oily chicken biriyani. its like vegetable mix rice, why do biriyani contains fu bell peppers and chicken isn’t fresh at all. I dunno i got something with biriyani , I don call it as Raita, its something else. Only good thing is Gulab jamun, Because they wont make it.
