This restaurant is a game-changer. After a lifelong quest for the perfect fudge, I can finally say that my search has come to an end. I have shamelessly indulged in their delicious treats and even convinced my friends and family to come back with me to Napanee for more. They offer a wide variety of beautifully crafted fudge, as well as a great selection of food for events. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. This is the perfect place to grab a coffee and enjoy their amazing daily specials. Definitely one of my top choices in Napanee!
Recently went to Napanee to go dress shopping. The lady in the dress store recommended Ellena’s for lunch. Good thing she told us because from the outside we thought it was just a cute kitchen store; the window had teapots, aprons etc. But what a...wonderful surprise inside. The back is a little cafe with amazing freshly made food. We shared the chicken Caesar wrap and HUGE piece of coconut cream pie. Definitely make a stop here for lunch or a coffee and sweet treat if you’re in the area.
we made lunch after a review. you will see the menu when you enter your order and then put it away utensil etc. and take it to a table. you will eat on her table. I had a nice quiche. special served with potato and specksuppe. the quiche was very thick and the baked was delicous. my man ordered the smoked meat pannini that he liked, but I found it pretty salty. it is a pretty little place with many interesting kitchen utensils. we took a delicious dessert home.
Sometimes one comes across a business that has captured a unique spirit in the staff, product and service it offers. Ellena's Cafe has captured that. It is pretty neat with an ecclectic mix of great food, rock solid staff, a nicely appointed store and a...complimentary business or two that rent there. Cool stuff, that seems like it blends well.
Yesterday, I had lunch at a local restaurant called Ellenas. The staff was amazing, and the lunch itself was even better. I had the most incredible grilled multi-grain turkey sandwich, and the soup was out of this world. The flavors were beyond description. Delicious!
