First timers at Eric’ s on Valentine’s day. I knew going out on V-day wasn’t going to be perfect, but have been wanting to try this mineola bistro. The restaurant was decorated and looked festive. We started with a lemoncello martini (a signature cocktail on menu) and a bottle of wine. The martini was awful. It tasted like triple sec and vodka. No lemon element at all. One of the servers offered to make it over and the second one was delicious. Now for the wine…….the cork broke when the server opened it. There were pieces of cork in the bottle. We went to Eric's for the second time last night. And, just like the first time loved it and cannot wait to go back. Upon arrival, even though we had only been there once the young gentleman working there, Santiago, recognized us and welcomed us back. A great feeling. The food and service as with our first visit were both amazing. My wife and 1 of our friends had fish one swordfish the other filet of sole, they both enjoyed! One of the hidden gems in Garden City , I must say !! If you are in the Roosevelt Field Mall area , definitely stop by here!! It was so welcoming , felt the family vibes. I came in with my nieces and nephew and they love Italian food , but never finish it. Luckily for me , this place had a kids menu with their favorites.Food , we decided to go right into it and order the entree as the kids eat a little . But the restaurant brought out fresh breads and bread with tomatoes and salami on the house. We just love Eric's Italian Bistro. The more we go the more we love this restaurant from the decor, the ambiance, the food and the staff/management! Last night it was New Years Eve, they did not have their regular extensive menu but a special menu for the night. They did not disappoint with the nice selection you could choose from. The food is consistently good, the wait staff is great and the management makes sure you are pleased with where you are seated to the quality of their service and food! Stopped in with my wife for a Sunday afternoon dinner. What a treat! The service was impeccable and the meals were top shelf. We arrived at opening time and they were able to accommodate us without a reservation. I highly recommend this wonderful gem. It's worth a trip!
Erics is an outstanding restaurant and as an italian im a tough critic. Went for valentines day and had fantastic experience. Some of the menu can be a little pricy but the foods great and staff super friendly. Definitely will be coming back soon.
My husband and I frequent Eric's. We love their food, drink and staff. They are always friendly and helpful. Santiago, our waiter is great. Thank you for your service! One of my faves is their 3 cheese soup!
Food was ok. My chicken and sausage was red inside not cooked completely. Waitress tried to rush us and the host was rude, put is next to front door.
