We've been going here for 25+ years .... before you had to fight for a parking spot and before you had to line up to get in.A great spot for breakfast and judging from the 'specials' boards I would be happy with the lunches and dinners. Breakfast has always been man sized and still after 25 years I wish they would peel the potatoes they use for the home fries. (Wellllll... at least they're washing the dirt off them now ....sorry, that was 20 years ago when nobody had heard of Stouffville. :)For the québécois out there the sausages are identical to 'la belle fermiere' sausages that you you have to smuggle in from Quebec. That alone is reason to go there.The service is prompt and friendly.
I have eaten in this restaurant for many years and the food is always good with large servings. Some of my favorite things to eat are their prime rib, pork or chicken souvlaki, French onion soup and the roast brisket of beef au jus. Their pies are also delicious if I leave enough room for desert. The service is also very good. My only complaint is the kind of French fries that they have. They are the crispy fries that were the rage at places like Harvey's years ago but thankfully most restaurants now use the tastier potato fries with skins or ones with more real potato than the processed crispy fries.
If you are looking for a breakfast that will remind you of the 90s, this place is where you need to go! The food wasn't too greasy, I didn't get heartburn for the rest of the day after eating here. The home fries are home made, sausage is classic, bacon is juicy. Service was fast considering they were so busy on a Sunday morning. Food was hot, portions were large. What more could you ask for !? Only disappointment for me was that they offered free coffee before 11, but didn't offer free tea as a replacement for non-coffee drinkers.
This is a great family restaurant. For the value and experience, I feel it is the best restaurant in Stouffville. It is always packed on the weekends. We eat there every Saturday with our family and we try to eat there once a week for dinner as well. The food is great and plentiful. The servers are really friendly and it has a warm atmosphere. This place has become part of our family tradition, we love it!

Have eaten here so many times, and each and every time, it is delicious ! I have probably tried everything on the menu and it is always delicious, inexpensive and you don't have to wait long to get served ! The staff are super friendly and so very helpful. Lots of parking around, centrally located, with great hours !Tons of food ! You will never leave hungry !
The food here is typical of what you get at that local family restaurant that locals eat at, good! Service is friendly and fast and plenty of food on your plate. We have family in town and this is there go to breakfast place. The stairs into the restaurant can be challenging for someone with mobility issues.
I dropped in with my family for lunch and was disappointed with my meal and lack of attention with the server. My lunch special was a sandwich with sliced beef which was tough and chewy. My carbonated drink had very little gas and I was charged for the wrong item on the menu. Not a pleasant experience
I had eggs benny. Was very good. Pemeal bacon was very good not dry. The home fries were great some places are in such a hurry to serve that they are not cooked properly - not the case here. They were excellent.

Good food, good service, nice local diner. Menu is large with al day breakfast. Get busy weekends before lunch.
Love to go to the Fickle Pickle for breakfast with my son or lunch with my friends. Love the Greek Salad.
