Fisherman's Wharf Seafood Restaurant

My daughter loves Yum Cha, so this was the place for lunch. The gentleman at the entrance, standing at the welcoming podium ignored us, so we just walked on in. Yep, I had that sinking feeling about what kind of service we would have. Though to give credit where credit is due, there was one lovely, woman pushing a trolley who made a genuine effort to engage with me and my daughter. The servings are portioned into three-person plates.This is a lovely looking restaurant that is tired and in need of some housekeeping. Ok back again today but was late and the mob had already started. BUT they did save me a duck pancake which was deleriously good, crispy, tangy and deliciously fatty. Next best thing pork and sticky rice yum. Big serve of the best mix of pork and rice. Also har gow yum but even better garlic prawn dumpling yum. Pork belly was soooo good and crispy but soft too. Great service too very efficent. Ahhh but it all went to quick for me and on way out a prawn jumped outa the tank in a suicide mission and nearly fell over mmm hargow with no dumpling? Nup I put the poor ****** back in the tank. Sorry mate!

Been here with my family two months ago. It was an afternoon, and supposedly their yum cha session. We were after seafood so refused to take any dim sum and boy their crappy attitude was so memorable. However after we clarified our intention and ordered several fancy seafood (e.g. Emperor crab(?) and lobster) we saw a noticeable improvement in their service. We were satisfied with the quality of the food, and the bill came to $900 for a group of 5. A bit pricy huh.

Do you know there is a yum cha restaurant above the Sydney Fish Market that serves fresh plump seafood dumplings? The dining area is spacious with plenty of seats overlooking the Wharf. Je vais au restaurant cantonais de fruits de mer à Sydney. C'est génial pour Yum Cha et Dîner. Ils servent sérieusement les fruits de mer frais et les plats de barbecue cuites. J'ai essayé de nombreux plats et j'ai jamais été déçu. L'emplacement est également très bon à se garer près de l'eau et facile à garer.

Pas mal Yum Cha - La foi, cela dépend de la fréquence occupée si la nourriture calme est assise dans la voiture longtemps et peu de temps. Douleur Douleur Je pense que cela arrive quelque part, bien que je Douleur Je riche M. Wong ou Queen Chow for Yum Chama large

My go to Cantonese seafood restaurant in Sydney. Its great for both Yum cha and dinner. They serve nicely cooked fresh seafood and BBQ dishes. I have tried many dishes and was never disappointed. The location is also very good, near the water and easy to park. Réservez une table maintenant

Not bad yum cha - think it depends on how busy though- if quiet food sits in the trolley to long and not enough variety. Guess that happens anywhere though I rate mr Wong or queen chow for yum cha far far higher

we attended a birthday party 24 guest we had a private room our waiter Jimmy was very attentive the food, service and atmosphere was very good.
