This place is so awesome and I don't want anyone else finding out about it because I hate waiting in lines for things...but I am not actually living in Manhattan right now, so I sadly won't be coming back anytime soon, and I want this place to be open and thriving for next time I come back; therefore, I think everyone should know about this. The place is a little dive-y but not in a bad way at all, very clean, with a long bar, a wall full of TVs showing various sportsball, and country music of my Midwest college days playing in the background. The menu here follows its own path rather than trends. This place is our family favorite place. Their workers excel at customer attention. Absolute precision in execution. This restaurant pleases me and I plan to return. Fish Market ll is a cozy, family-run restaurant offering everything from comforting bar snacks to authentic Malaysian cuisine. The owners, Jeff, (his) Mama and the entire staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making every visit feel like dining with family. It’s truly a hidden gem in the East Village.
