First impressions of Flinderz under new management was positive. <br/ <br/ Feel: fitting for brunch<br/ I really like this establishment and their alfresco area. It’s actually an ideal setting for brunch with friends/partners.<br/ <br/ Staff: great<br/ The staff are friendly and accommodating to people with food requirements.<br/ <br/ Food: Hit and miss, but good portion size overall<br/ Pancakes were great, zucchini corn fritter was ok. If I could offer some constructive criticism it would be that the ratio of fritter to salsa is a bit off (a bit less oily fritter and a little more zesty salsa) and that the fritter was a bit over cooked (as can be seen from photo). Sooooooooo disappointed! Ordered the croque monsieur with white sauce and a fried egg. Saw the table next to us order big breakfasts with hearty thick cut bread and thought they'd serve the croque monsieur on the same. It literally came on tip top bread.... The cheese was delicious but it was 19 dollars! I could've made it at home even though it was yummy ruined my expectations as my friend got the pulled pork hash and it looked like restaurant quality, but here I was with my sandwich. <br/ <br/ Coffee is nice, staff are really nice and the juice I got at the end was nice. Might try again but won't rush back as if we didn't have the entertainment discount I'd be spewing about 19 dollars for...
Wonderful, friendly service provided by Jason today. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and able to answer all our questions.The restaurant was comfortable and we weren't squished in so it wasn't noisy, we could easily carry on conversation across the table.Food was beautiful! Very well presented, fresh, and tasty. Generous portions. Coffee was also very good.Everything did take a while to come out, but it was worth the wait, and not unacceptable for a busy Sunday morning.Pricing was also very reasonable which is rare for a perth breakfast!
The service and ambience at Flinderz are lovely really friendly and prompt service and the alfresco area is nice and bright. A perfect spot for breakfast.<br/ <br/ I ordered the smashed avocado with a side of smoked salmon. The lime and chilli on top added a nice twist and I really enjoyed it. My partner ordered the big breakfast but said it was just average and that the scrambled eggs were overcooked and a bit rubbery.<br/ <br/ I would go here again if I was in the Hillary's area.

Over 30 of us from our Probus club dined here for Breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great seating for a crowd with plenty of room and nice lookout. Food was absolutely delicious and the service very friendly. Because we were so many food took a little while to come out but the staff were right on to this and offered free coffees for the wait. You don't get better than that. We will certainly be going back.
I could not have loved Flinderz anymore. My toddler played happily in their kids section and I literally had my first non-stressful meal out as a mum! The service was absolutely phenomenal. I didn’t catch their names but we were served by both a lady and a gentleman on Monday and they both were so accommodating. The food was so lovely also. 10/10. Would eat here everyday if I could!
We were a group of over 20 ladies coming in for a Christmas luncheon. I called in the day before to discuss seating and the best ways to order and pay. So glad I did this as the service was excellent and they let us split the bill. Everyone agreed that the food was plentiful and tasted great. Would go again
