Essen 5 Service 4 Location 5 Ambiente 5. We stayed at Florentine Café because reviews said that it had the best chickens Marsala and lobster Ravioli that anyone ever had. The food was not disappointed. The lobster ravioli was buttery and creamy and absolutely delicious. The chicken marsala was lovely. The thin sauce was tasteful and accompanied by delicious mushrooms and prosciutto. The Calamari was not the best I had, but it was still a good start, a lighter option, slightly baked and soft inside.
Amazing Italian food in the North End. We got seated right away and our server was very helpful and friendly (and knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and sensitivities). I got the Gnocchi without Parmesan to make it vegan, and it was perfect. The other favorite dishes in our party were the calamari and the lobster ravioli. Would definitely recommend!
Great service and outdoor seating. Menu is dishonest and has overpriced items. Caesar salad was not using homemade dressing tasted grocery store bought. Meatballs were tasting like they were from the grocery store as well. Same for calamari. Fine for just drinks though. Friendly service.
Pizza was decent, arancini appetizer not so much, but especially business is shady. A bottle of wine marked $38 on the menu actually calculated for $58. The restaurant called and the manager promised to fix it? nope, still charged the original amount.

Chill and authentic atmosphere. We loved our bartender, Ross. The food was fantastic. We absolutely loved the meatballs. It is a simple dish, but so many places they dry out. These were so moist and had great taste. Good wine options!
Get the lobster ravioli! It’s a creamy, white sauce and the ravioli is actually stuffed with lobster too. I shared it with a friend, and it was plenty of food after the bread basket.
Best Gnocchi I ever had everything, is so fresh and tasty in this restaurant. I love my drink too it was so refreshing! I highly recommend this restaurant when you are in the north.
No spices or taste in food/pizzas. No garlic, no oregano? But the pizza crust is very good. You were NOT a baby for a few W. Pair left.

We sat next to the window overlooking the street so that was nice. Great food and a decent cocktail and beer list.
