so where do i start...? this restaurant is hard to find especially if youre not familiar with the area. there is next to no parking so for $25 you can get onsite valet parking. our booking was for 6:30pm but because we got lost and took a few wrong turns, we didnt arrive until close to 6:45pm. During those 15mins we called the restaurant 3 times to confirm the booking and get directions. In the call, the manager himself said it would be fine that we were arriving late.  We finally got seated by the window as requested since tonight we were celebrating my bfs bday. Menus were provided but nothing really explained. after a few minutes reading into each dish, the waiter comes and asked i...

We went for the 3 course lunch special, so we tried every single lunch special dish, and every single dish was pretty good. We started with some oysters and they were fresh, delicious. Then the entrees, every single entree has a different taste to it. The ocean trout dish was more like a savory one, the salad of pickled persimmon was really fresh, my favorite one among those three. The truffle goats curd salad was also on the savoury side, probs a bit heavy to start a three course meal. But the flavours were all fabulous. The mains, my favorite was chicken breast!!!! The best chicken breast I have had ever. Chicken breast for me was used to be dry and tough, something that I would never buy....

A glamorous restaurant with gorgeous views of Pyrmont and the Darling Harbour, the Flying Fish is one of the most stunning dining destinations in Sydney. The glitzy restaurant is housed in the historic Jones Bay Finger Wharf and features steel lattice columns, riveted steel girders and bow-string steel trusses whose classical modular design make it an iconic landmark for Pyrmont and Darling Harbour. Its previous role in Australian maritime history was exemplified in its current adaptation as a premium seafood restaurant. My spectacular dining experience began with split tiger prawns topped with XO butter emulsion and sea blite. The tiger prawns were fresh, juicy and succulent. However, the...

THANKS FOR RUINING MY BIRTHDAY NIGHT. Food was ok, service and staff terrible for a fine dining Restuarant. Handed us the Bill before I had finished dining, why even bother giving us the dessert menu if your going to rush us out of the restaurant, complete waste of money and less then incompetent manger. Get yourself a new manager before he ruins your business because that's not how a manager should act in a fine dining restaurant. Definitely would not be ever coming back to this robbing restaurant again.
