What a fantastic cash-only local bar! It's a classic old-school spot in Queens, perfectly lit with fun and diverse theme nights, all contributing to a really cool atmosphere. The bartenders are great, and the prices are very reasonable (just $7 for Jameson!). I wouldn’t classify this as a dive bar; to me, a dive has a certain distinctive smell, a layer of grime, and an edge or danger that can be appealing at times. Flynn’s is better than a dive bar because it offers all the qualities you’d want from a dive, without any of the drawbacks.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Stephanie and James serve up the finest Guinness pours – just look at that perfect head! It's a great spot to connect with the local community. Be sure to stick around for the monthly acoustic music sessions called "Flynndig!"
It's ironic that we never noticed this unpleasant person, Jack, before Paul's passing. Now that his dad has died, I feel sorry for the regulars. This guy is insensitive and doesn't care about those who supported the place...
Fantastic atmosphere, excellent staff, wonderful people, and amazing drinks. I highly recommend this place—not just because my name is Flynn!

A classic Irish sports bar. I’ve got to give extra credit for the lovely garden, but I would’ve taken away a star if it weren't for that.
I had a wonderful time, but unfortunately, the young bartender with black hair and a GAA jersey assaulted me and set my house on fire.
The place is a dive, but not in a good way. Plus, it’s cash only. What are we? Animals? Find some other way to cheat on your taxes.
