Forbidden Noodles

It's pretty good. I'm not convinced the vegetarian/vegan options are that great but the meat ones are. I had the vegetarian stir fried ramen and it was just okay. The tofu was tasteless and the ramen noodles were a bit too salty. The veggies with it, at least the broccoli, were boiled and without much flavor at all (helped by the saltiness of the noodles). The chicken stir fry noodles, on the other hand, were intensely flavorful and honestly delicious. I understand it's much easier making the vegetarian options also vegan but it's a shame. I think it might be because that sauce they used in the chicken bowl wasn't vegan, thats why they didn't use it in the vegetarian one. Not sure but it's a real shame these delicious sauces are just for the meat options. The chicken ramen soup was really good, my mom had no complaints there.

The food is exquisite and extraordinarily good, it has great prices and the flavor of the food is out of this world! The pork tonkotsu and the steamed bao buns are a must have delicacy in this place! I would definitely recommend this place!Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options on the menu or you can remove meats off other plates, it’s wonderful iether way!Kid-friendliness: The place is very open to kids, I often go with my brother and he loves it! They have TVs streaming twitch streamers playing games like Minecraft, and it’s a nice environment with great staff!

I came here for the first time and I can tell you I wasn’t disappointed. From everything to the customer service, to the cleanliness of the establishment, and the delicious food, everything was great. I absolutely recommend anyone who is able to, to go stop in and try it for themselves.Food: 5/5

I dined in and ordered the beef stir fry and I would definitely recommend it( especially with the spicy chili oil). The portions are generous and the staff is super friendly, overall I had an amazing experience there.Food: 5/5

Japanese chicken was delicious, I had the beef ramen and my son had the pork ramen. We both loved the food. And the person who attended to us was very nice. Will go there again when next I visit Chicago.
