The place was very noisy with echoes. We waited a while for the host to arrive and give us our table, which was right next to a family with three kids who were noisy and running around. The food was okay, definitely not the best. The arancini balls were quite hard and dry outside. The linguine (both veg and prawn) were okay, but again, quite dry. The pasta arrived first and we had to wait for about 10 15 mins before the pizzas (which were just okay, given the thick crust) arrived for the others at the table. But by then, the pastas had gone luke warm. When we spoke to the manager that all the mains could've been brought together, he didn't apologise, but just asked if we wanted free drinks q...
This restaurant was very disappointing from the start. I arrived and waited a few minutes before someone even noticed me. Then I told them I had a booking and they disappeared for another few minutes looking lost, then finally another person asked me for my booking name and we were seated. The host or waitress also was not welcoming and looked like she didn’t want to be there which made me feel uncomfortable. Food was decent except for the pizza as it came out burnt. All I could taste was burnt pizza, it was very unpleasant. I don’t normally send food back but this was not edible. Another waiter who was very kind apologised and got us a new one which was much better! The spritz was delicious...
The waiter though very nice was not particularly good with English which made for some difficulty ordering. However the main issue was with the fact that there were at least two off oysters in our dozen. We stopped eating when each of us had one at the same time. Despite sending back a plate of 6/12 uneaten oysters we weren’t offered a refund.
Staff were clearly run off their feet. We waited 45 mins to order food and drinks. We first started going to Fratellis 5 years ago , we’ve just returned to the area and there is unfortunately been a huge decline in quality and menu choices. Réservez une table maintenant
