The view was remarkable and the serving staff were very attentive, however the tough rump steak and the non response from management was extremely disappointing. Took over an hour for the mains to arrive. Partner had eye fillet, whilst I had rump. Eye fillet was fine, however the rump was very difficult to cut with a steak knife and even harder to chew. After requesting a new steak, the chef sent the same steak back with a request to see if it was better in the middle. REALLY!!!. The middle was okay but I would have liked to be able to eat the whole steak. When the new meal came out they had simply microwaved the side dish of zuchini ribbons; this resulted in the zuchini being very limp and...
Had Groupon dinner at this renowned restaurant not long ago. The venue is huge and service is attentive and friendly. Ordered the Brushetta to share between two of us, which was surprisingly good with the well matched of diced tomatoes, onions and basils with traces of cheese and sea salt. Mains of eye fillet and sirloin were above average in terms of quality and culinary skill. Even though this restaurant located near the Cha cha cha, their steak dishes production is very competitive. Although the deal of $69 was not a really bargain (it seems that they offer the free starter and two alcoholic drinks), the dinning experiences was quite impressive.
We were booked in for 7pm but thought we would try to get in earlier. The staff were more than accommodating with us. I can't fault the food it was lovely. It didn't bother me the long wait in between courses but others might find it frustrating. All up dinner took roughly 3 hrs. Not really sure what the problem was as to me they didn't appear overly busy. But hey who knows what was going on behind the scenes.
A romantic dinner was shared over great food, paired with excellent wine recommended by the waiter, Max. The views over dinner were fantastic. We spent over 3 hours enjoying each others company and indulging in way too much food and wine. For the location of the restaurant, the menu was very reasonably priced with a great variety of steaks, seafood. Definitely recommend.

Had a great meal here with friends. It was pumping outside; live music, but inside the noise wasn't intrusive. The food (seafood) was tasty and plentiful and what we thought was reasonably priced. A thorough wine list, the service was good, and the views of course at that area are amazing. Check it out.
Good steak. Typical rough and ready aussie service. cold beer. no complaints about portion size and a pile of chips and salad. Good sauce, mushroom, garlic, dianne, there was more options.
The food was magnificent, service attentive and polite. Wine beautiful! View of the river and Story Bridge just gorgeous! A lovely restaurant for all occasions.
Food in Brisbane more pricey than Sydney? Rhetorical but would love to hear an opinion.
$20 for steak, and mashed potato - and I was pleasantly satisfied
