The restaurant does boast a charming patio that’s ideal for summer evenings, and I see a lot of potential for improvement with just a few tweaks to the menu. However, our wait time was excessively long—over 45 minutes for our sole dish, the Pork Tang Su Yuk. They also forgot our dumplings, and it took an additional five minutes to bring us a second serving of rice, despite the restaurant being relatively empty at the time. They might have been unusually busy, as other tables were also waiting a considerable amount of time for their meals. That said, the pork dish was fresh, hot, and crispy, complemented by a delicious sweet and sour sauce on the side and delightful pickled vegetables. The r...

Ga Hyung Ru, a Korean-Chinese restaurant, provides a distinctive dining experience that deviates from typical fare like bulgogi, BBQ, or hot pot. This charming establishment focuses primarily on noodles and rice dishes, offering a cozy, home-cooked vibe. I ordered the Seafood, Pork, and Black Bean Sauce served over noodles for $12.75. The black bean sauce, one of their highlights, was rich in flavor, featuring notes of bean paste and caramelized onions. The pork and seafood, which consisted only of shrimp, blended seamlessly into the dark sauce, although their textures remained apparent. Overall, the sauce struck a perfect balance—it was slightly salty without being overpowering and paired b...

This has become my new favorite Korean restaurant! My wife found it through a blog, and I’m so glad she did. The location is convenient with easy access and plenty of parking available. It’s also kid-friendly, which is a plus—our toddler had a high chair to use. The prices are very affordable, and the portion sizes are more than generous. While the atmosphere isn’t particularly fancy, the food truly captures the essence of authentic Korean comfort. The area around the restaurant is quiet and serene, making it a great choice for families. The service was consistently courteous and prompt, which enhanced our experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and left feeling completely satisfied. I high...

Be sure to try the Tangsooyook, which consists of deep-fried pork tenderloin accompanied by a delicious sweet and sour sauce. The dish is wonderfully crispy on the outside while remaining tender inside, and remarkably, there's no overpowering pork smell! The quality of this pork dish truly highlights the restaurant's remarkable culinary skills. With its delightful sweet and sour dipping sauce, this meal makes the journey across the Lions Gate Bridge well worth it! Réservez une table maintenant

I completely loved my experience! I remember wanting to check out this restaurant when I went to karaoke across the street, but it looked quite empty inside, so we hesitated. That turned out to be a huge mistake! I ordered the sweet and spicy deep-fried chicken and the stir-fried squid with a kick (I believe that's what it was called?), and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm definitely planning to return!

This charming and cozy Korean restaurant offers great value and an authentic mom-and-pop vibe. I really appreciate the variety of small pickled side dishes that accompany every meal. Just a suggestion: the dining experience is best enjoyed family-style, so be prepared to share your food!

I recommend trying this restaurant, especially the Tang Su Yuk! (Just be aware that it can get soggy and the flavor may change.) My kids mentioned that there were too many onions in the Jambong. Overall, it’s still a good place to dine.

During my visit, I observed that all the other customers were Korean, which truly underscores the restaurant's authenticity. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend giving it a go! Réservez une table maintenant

The food is delicious, and I highly recommend it. Many Koreans dine here, which speaks to its authenticity. There are five parking spots available behind the restaurant.
