this place has gone way down hill. far from the glory days of the thirsty monk. the interior is run down. the clientele is sketchy. the owner is a rude obnoxious a hole. servers are nice. i hope the owner gives up and lets go of this establishment so someone with heart passion drive and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry can take over. look up the black bear in ajax and what happened there and youll see why this place has lost its mojo

We were there last night, a youth hockey team and parents. Tawnia and Naomi ran a well oiled machine! We had the best time. Great beer, yummy buffet! The kids had a ton of fun, right down to you singing happy birthday to the coaches. Thank you so much for such a special night in kids bonding and building friendships.Vegetarian options: Great veggie pasta in rosé sauce!
