I've been buying produce from this market, and I find myself throwing out more than I can eat. It seems like they sell their goods just before they go bad, and if you don't use them within a couple of days, you'll have to discard them. I had to throw away all the tomatoes I bought, as well as the watermelon. There's a fantastic organic independent market in town, and honestly, I'd prefer to pay a bit extra for fresh produce rather than settle for a bargain that ultimately goes to waste.
This store used to be fantastic, but it has really declined lately! I visited a few days ago, and all the fruits and vegetables appeared stale, with a very limited selection. I also wanted to buy some frozen items, but when I reached the checkout, I discovered they weren't even cold! The staff was quite rude as well. Despite only living a few minutes away, I will not be returning.
I have been shopping here since it opened Very upset the market has been getting worse the quality is terrible. Poor selection and lots of the produce is about to go bad. Not a bargain anymore rather spend a little more and get flavorful produce at the supermarket . You guys need to pick up your game
Used to love this store. Now shelves are half empty. Many of the vegetables are bad. Picked up several red onions only to find them bad and several flies emerged.Bought ice cream in Sept only to see that it expired in June.Giant doesn't clear out expired items, so be careful. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THE FISH MARKET! I received old, spoiled fish for the third and final time. While they offer a great variety of products, the packaged fruits (like raspberries and blackberries) can be hit or miss; often, they have mold by the time I get them home.
Decent selection of produce. The freshness can be a bit of a gamble, but it's still better than nearby grocery stores
Clean reasonable priced fruits veggies limited genersl grocery supply. Fish meats fresh and frozen available.
