We were on a day trip at the cottage on recommendation from friends. It was a great view over the whole valley. Food and drink were super delicious without exception. A praise to the kitchen. Service personnel were all kind, nice and accommodating. Sanitary rooms were clean and well maintained. A great excursion and a great ambience. The cottage itself was also very beautiful and original. Great carvings and original seating are available. Come back.
The hike to the Glasmännnlehütte is very exhausting when you take the signposted shortcut. Here you need very good footwear and a very good condition. The path leads over the floor and stone, crashed tree trunks etc. Pure nature. Next time we choose the way you can go with the stroller. It's not so exhausting. At the top, great views, rustic hut and good food. A real reward for the ascent.
We've been to the X-ten times at the hut. Always an experience. If we need a break, we make a day trip to the cottage (always 175km away). With the chairlift up and then enjoy the magnificent view and the excellent food. (our tastes especially the vasper plate and the peasant sausages) We're coming every season. In summary: Unique cottage with fantastic views.
