The service at this restaurant was incredibly slow and the waitress who served us appeared dirty and unkempt. She had dirty clothes, unclean teeth, and messy hair with large spiral ear stretchers. Customers expect their food to be served by staff who appear clean and presentable, and they also expect their food to be served in a timely manner. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
At the end of my drink, literally after I had sucked the whole thing down, I see a black something-or-other in the cup and realize it was a GIGANTIC FLY in my drink. I never took the lid off. So, it was in there from the beginning. Barf!
Not a coffee drinker but thought I might purchase a hot chocolate from this store. I am guessing that this is not something that happens often but the drink was extremely cold and too weak. Hopefully next time is better guys
The coffee is great, but the outstanding customer service is why we keep coming back. The young girls working at the new Evan's Avenue store look like they're set to carry this on at that store. Réservez une table maintenant
We met a friend for coffee and catch-up while visiting Mackay. It was a quiet afternoon and great. Service was slightly slack but think that was because it was a changeover of shifts.
The coffee was not really good and there was a very limited range of un interesting cakes and banana bread all looked like it had been in the display cabinet a long time
Always loved GJ's coffee, by far my favourite. Best coffee if you enjoy a strong hit. Staff are always friendly and service is efficient.
