Old school, nostalgic family run restaurant that offers the popular Chop Suey Nation fare (Southern Chinese cuisine adapted to suit the tastes of small towns and not found in traditional restaurants), and also authentic favourites many CBCs will rememberfrom their childhoods. The beef and broccoli is my favorite! They use the best wine to cook the beef and the flavors are so good. This restaurant is tops and done perfectly. Truly a gift for the people here to have access to this food culture. The expertise in this kitchenshould be respected. Hands up to you! Thank you for making dinner special on occasions!

We had a another great lunch at the Golden Carriage, it was busy, but we didn't have to wait very long for our food to come, most people have the smorgasbord, but we always order from the menu, the place isn't fancy but we thought that the servings were larger than previous visits.

Food is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! piping hot, full of flavor, not greasy at all. It is some of the best Americanized Chinese food that I have ever tasted. You can tell that a lot.of care goes into the food. Don't walk... run to get this tasty treat!! Nom NomNom!! Réservez une table maintenant

This place used to be the best in town but they have sadly gone downhill. The deep fried spicy squid was soaking in oil and so soggy that the coating had fallen off. The fried rice had what appears to be cheap frozen mixed veg. Just down rightdisappointed.

Keep trying other restaurants but always come back to the well priced lunch buffet at The Golden carriage. We have come here for years to have their excellent lunch, from miso soup to dessert, we have no complaints. Friendly, helpful service.

We stopped in for the buffet but it wasn't available so we ordered the Squids and Prawns Hotpot and it was very good with an excellent ginger broth. Along with an order of vegetable chow main it was more than e ough for the two of us.
