I had an excellent experience during my first visit there yesterday. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. They offered at least four beers that we really enjoyed, which is uncommon for us—usually, at most breweries, we only find one or two that we truly love. The atmosphere was nice and very relaxed. The outdoor area is particularly great, featuring two sets of cornhole boards, a stage, and we noticed large heating units and a fireplace for cooler evenings. They also welcomed our dog on the patio, which was a nice touch.
I can't comment on the food since we didn't eat there, but the beer was good, and the bartender was very friendly! It wasn't busy when we visited on a Saturday afternoon, but it seemed like they were planning to have a band or some entertainment later on. We went to Decatur specifically to visit three breweries, and Golden Fox had the best beer of the three.
