Do not visit this restaurant if you are a breastfeeding woman, even just for a coffee. I was asked to cover myself while feeding my newborn because it was a man's pub, which I found inappropriate and disrespectful. Despite already wearing a button-down blouse, I was told to use a blanket for coverage. When I expressed my discomfort, I was told that this was a man's pub. This made me feel disgusted and upset, especially since breastfeeding in public is protected by law. Another patron in the pub did not mind and found it natural, but the rude barmaid insisted on covering up. I felt humiliated and upset by the experience. I would not recommend this place for women or anyone who values equality...
A pub, short for public house, is meant to serve the public. Denying toilet service goes against the fundamental human right to sanitation. Several questions arise - what about individuals with limited mobility or with specific medical needs? What about parents with young children in need of a restroom? This establishment seems to be incredibly exclusive and discriminatory.
