Although Grotto Pizza is a Delaware/Maryland chain, it typically caters to local customers. Their locations span pretty much from Rehoboth Beach to Concord Pike. It's been awhile since we've dined in one, so we figured we try it again. Their pizza is fairly well prepared. The crust is crispy and thin. However, the sauce seems to be a bit blend, like lacking some seasoning or spices. Toppings are good, and they do offer a variety of special pizzas. Staff was friendly and helpful. The dining experience seems lacking a bit, although it's no fault of the management nor the staff. It just seems like dining in a crowded diner, than a top notch pizza place.
