Gumption by Coffee Alchemy

Coffee is great and usually pop in often. Shame about the staff though. Today I was standing at one of the outside tables before I had gone in to order a coffee. I was rearranging my handbag when a staff member came over to tell me the area was for gumption customers only. Most of the tables were empty and I was confused as I wasn't even seated. She was incredibly rude about it and is enough to put me off going there again.

I ordered flat white. It does not taste like most of the Sydney coffee, it tastes more like the Melbourne ones. A little bit acid. I cannot agree more with most of the comments, the service is not that good. Even though I spelt my name clearly for every single character, I still got the wrong name on my cup. Anyway, I love 'workshop' coffee much more than this one.

Coffee is decent, very good by Sydney standards. Staff refused to serve 'have here' cups claiming too busy though there were 4 staff and little to no queue so not sure what the fuss was about. Short coffees don't taste the same from paper cups. Personal opinion is that you are either open or you aren't, there is no take away only BS.

A coffee alchemy outlet, so tasty rough beans but done better than the Marrickville outlet because it was heavier and hotter, plus is normal in the city but overpriced in Marrickville. Réservez une table maintenant

When you come to Australia, steak is a must.Here, with a coffee, slowly enjoy the lunch, the waiter is also very polite, the whole environment is very quiet, is also very comfortable.

I believe the coffee was intended good but seems that the barista was under stress and the outcome wasn't as intended. Watch for the whole chain !!!

The cafe was super busy when we arrived (midday ish on a Sunday)Very few seats left 5 people waiting for take away. Réservez une table maintenant
