In short, drinks are good here and the custard is also terrific with your drink. Can 't say the same about the boba the time we had it. It wasn 't hard but had too much of a chew as it could 've been fresher. The tea portion here is good. Drinks are on the sweeter side so you 'll most likely have to ask them to percentage it to your liking. There is always a wait here but they seem to be pretty fast with the drinks. 10/28/23 Half Half will always be my go to boba shop! I usually go to the Rowland Heights location, but I found myself at the one in City of Industry. I will say that the customer service and quality is the same regardless of which of the two locations you end up visiting. Half Half is the best when it comes to quantity and quality at its price point. There is an ongoing promotion where you can get a free upgrade to a larger size. So, we got 4 large drinks with toppings for the price of regular sized drinks. This is an authentic Taiwanese boba shop with generous portion sizes. The boba is delightfully chewy and incredibly tasty. One standout feature is their milk tea, which has a strong flavor from real tea leaves, making it a real treat. They offer a variety of flavors to choose from, and you can adjust the sugar level to your preference (I personally prefer it less sweet and always order it with a quarter sugar). Be sure to bring cash, as they charge an extra fee for card payments!
If you haven't had half half, you are missing out! Absolutely love this place! The iced milk drink with caramel drizzle, egg pudding and boba (number 1) is the go-to always! During the summer they do a promo of a free upgrade. The boba is always nice and chewy and the drink isn't overly sweet. Staff is pretty nice and helpful. In the inside there are a couple places to sit but this is meant to be a grab and go type of place. Give this place a try if you haven't!

My favorite boba spot! I had never been to Half and Half before, but the girl behind the counter was incredibly friendly and recommended the best boba drink I've ever had, and I’m not even a big boba fan. Everything tasted fresh and was filled to the brim, which I really appreciate since the drinks aren’t cheap (almost $5 each, even before inflation), but I think it’s worth it. They should consider selling merchandise—it would be so cute!
This is the original Half and Half, and it stands out as the best among all the similar boba places with the same name. The seating inside is quite limited, and there are some shared outdoor seating options. Most customers choose to order takeout. There’s ample parking available, and the business plaza is clean and secure. It’s also a family-friendly and handicap-accessible establishment.

IVE NEVER BEEN TO HALF AND HALF BUT THE GIRL BEHIND THE COUNTER WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND INTRODUCED ME TO THE BEST BOBA DRINK EVER AND IM NOT EVEN A FAN OF BOBA.EVERYTHING TASTED FRESH AND FILLED TO THE BRIM WHICH I LIKE BECAUSE THE DRINK WASNT CHEAP (ALMOST 5$ PER DRINK AND THIS WAS BEFORE INFLATION) BUT WORTH IT IMO.THEY SHOULD SELL MERCH IT WOULD BE SO CUTE.
Great drinks! My favorite beverage to order is the Ice Milk with Grass Jelly and Pudding. The prices are reasonable too! The shop has a nice atmosphere as well!

Been going to Half and Half since 2009. Best boba tea in SoCal. Still excellent after all these years.
Need ID for using toilet. They don't pay attention what I ordered. Next boba place next time.
