I’ve always wanted to try Half and Half since it opened almost ten years ago, but I’ve heard it's quite filling—like a full meal. With so many bubble tea shops popping up in the area, I never got around to visiting, although my husband and friends have. I recently ordered a few drinks, and while they’re impressive in size and value, I found nothing particularly remarkable about them. The tea is decent, but it could be stronger, and even at 50% sweetness, it's still way too sweet for my taste. One of the best milk teas in the 626, closer to the tea end on the spectrum of milk teas (opposite is the sweet end . Favorite drink was the Taiwanese milk tea, no ice, half sweet. Usually always served in a normal size, but rarely the cashier offers me a large size with missing volume (cost savings? . Also on the menu is cream cheese foamy tops, matcha flavors, random confectionaries like oreo and chocolate, and natural fruits. Overall I would definitely recommend this tea restaurant for traditional milk teas.

The restaurant has a lovely location and is impeccably clean, with friendly and attentive staff. They offer a wide selection of drink and topping choices. I tried the Lychee Lemonade, and it was absolutely delicious, made with high-quality ingredients. Despite being busy, the service was fairly quick. While there isn't an extensive amount of seating for diners, most people tend to opt for takeaway anyway.

The Hong Kong milk tea was truly outstanding. It was creamy and smooth while still maintaining its rich flavor. However, the boba didn’t quite meet my expectations; it was a bit softer than I prefer.

There's nothing quite like Half Half, plain and simple. I refer to their drinks as meals—boba meals. You really don't know what boba is until you've experienced this place, LOL.
