I've been told that there are two types of falafels. Ones made with chickpeas and the other made with fava beans. Half moon uses fava beans and they have mastered their trade. Order a 'Half Moon' to start off with and then work your way down. My personal favourite contains fried cauliflower and eggplant, though the name escapes me. The sunflower, which has a boiled egg in it, is also brilliant. A must try for anyone in Coburg. Prices are unbelievably low.
Its worth every minute of the wait while they prepare the falafel immediately after you've ordered! In reality, it is not a long wait, bearing in mind that it is freshly prepared. At $1 a piece, I ordered 6, filling up a burger box for take-away.Verdict: It's mouth watering, fragrant and full of great texture when I chewed on it!
We ordered the food for two and it seems took for one person only, when the food arrived. The service is slow. The food tasted bland, it lacked the spices and flavors. The prices for dishes are higher than similar dishes in other places. The owner lacks sophistication and makes cheap remarks towards the customers.
My husband took me to this place for lunch. We had the lamb and falafel called Caro. It was delicious. I wish I could keep eating. This is a must try place when in Coburg. Big Thumbs up Réservez une table maintenant

I've been here several times and tried various food. All food is homemade, the falafel, the lamb is my favourite, great tasting. The coffee is also pretty good!
