The food here is excellent and the service was wonderful. The decor is modern and atmosphere pleasant. Our server, Ryan, went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. Every member of staff we interacted with was very friendly and attentive. Food was brought out very promptly, as would be expected from dim sum. The critical reviews here seem to say more about the individual reviewer and their egos than the actual establishment the place is fantastic. I highly recommend the shrimp crepes, chicken feet and beef chow mein, but everything we ate was authentic and delicious and a good value as well. Inside the restaurant, there's a sign at the front desk with information about the parking garage. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. Initially, they seated us at a small table for two, but shortly after we sat down and were about to order, a booth became available, and they graciously asked us to move. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness and were thrilled to have the booth!
For our meal, we ordered the Black Cod with Tofu Casserole (delicious), Duck Web and Mushroom Casserole (also delicious), Roasted Pork (good, but slightly salty for my taste), and radish cake (good). I would definitely return to try their dim sum and duck.
Highly recommend this place. My wife and I have been coming since it opened and frankly I don't understand some of the other reviews. We live in Chantilly, and this place has the best Dim Sum we've found without driving to DC or Rockville. The BBQ platter is amazing with roast pig, roast pork, and roast duck. The fried taro is always fresh, this is a dim sum dish that varies a lot from place to place, but it's always good here. We also love the beef chow fun, pan fried turnip, shrimp dumplings, and several of the other dim sum dishes.Parking: There are a few spots outside, but most parking spots are in the parking garage, which is very close.
The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance, but I wish they had invested more in their staff and restroom facilities. We arrived at 6:00 PM and didn’t leave until 9:00 PM, waiting quite a while for our food; each dish came out roughly every 15 minutes, and the food was just average. However, the most disappointing aspect was the restroom situation. I’m not sure if there’s more than one, but I only found one, and it was in a terrible state. I was genuinely shocked. Given the prices they charge for each dish, they should at least ensure the bathrooms are clean. Overall, I cannot recommend this place.

The dim sum was absolutely delicious! We tried the shrimp dumplings, scallop dumplings, shumai, baked pork buns, braised eggplant, and taro dumplings. Everything was really tasty, but the shrimp dumplings stood out as the best. We were pleasantly surprised that the baked pork buns had a sweet topping, reminiscent of a pineapple bun (bolo bao), and it was delightful. The eggplant was alright; while the meat filling was tasty, the eggplant itself could have used more flavor. We will definitely return! We also ordered a noodle dish, though I forgot its name.
Han Palace in Tyson is a delightful escape, with its spacious ambiance and elegant decor resonating a subtle touch of Chinese charm. Their dim sum is undeniably one of the best offerings in the northern Virginia region. The service is attentive and commendable, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. However, visitors should be aware of the parking situation, particularly if driving taller vehicles; it can pose challenges during the winter months. Despite this, the overall experience is worth the visit. Highly recommended!
I really adore this restaurant, and I've always enjoyed their delicious food and excellent service. However, it seems they might be having an off day today. The skin on the roast duck was overly chewy, almost like paper. The soup was very peppery, and the dumplings tasted like raw meat. The Chow Fun was missing any greens, and they forgot to add salt to the dish. I would have given it just 1 star, but I felt bad because I've been here three times before and had a great experience each time.
I went here for lunch, only a half an hour before closing. My waitress was named Angel, and she was so sweet- real angel! She was incredibly attentive and brought me everything I needed. I wasn't sure about this some of the menu items, and she gave me really great suggestions. The dumplings were delicious, as were the pan-fried noodles. Terrible food. They just heat up frozen items and serve them at your table, including one of our former favorites, the Purple Buns. The food was lukewarm, and you could actually feel the ice inside the buns. It was far from fresh. I used to love this place, but after this experience, I'm very disappointed. What a pity! I won’t be returning. Be careful!
Great Chinese cuisine that?s near Tyson?s Galleria. Their dim sum are tasty and not pricey. The best Chinese dim sum restaurant in the area. They have huge area where can accommodate reservation for any occasions. Beef steak cubes taste good. They also have seats in the patio which is a nice view.
