Travelling up from Melbourne I had read about this restaurant on Urbanspoon and put it on my list as a must visit. You will need your goggle maps to find it tucked away in a garage in a little side street in Spring Hill.We rocked up on a Thursday around 7.30pm with no booking - it was packed. We told we could have a table at around 8.15pm and given we were child-free we jumped at the chance. Second visit to happy boy and wanted to reserve judgment until we had returned however it was the same on both occasions. The setting is great as a converted warehouse but very noisy on a Saturday night. We arrived to people all over the pavement and in the entrance with no clear place to confirm your reservation. Anyway once we did get our table we ordered the banquet (and they allowed us to make a few special requests) which is great value as you get a lot of dishes and the food really is great. However, one of our dishes had a hair in it which the staff did apologise for and replaced. The service over all was pretty bad as they are not attentive at all after they drop your food at the tab...

We went last Saturday night, table of ten. We were met at the bar by a pretty obnoxious waiter who ignored us until his colleague took over, not a great start! Then we were directed to a small noisy waiting area right at the back of the restaurant in a little alcove with hard wooden stools; our table was eventually ready ~20 mins after it was meant to be (19:45) and when seated the place was so incredibly noisy it was genuinely hard to hear the person directly seated next to each other. The food was good, not great, but it all came in such a rush that we were really struggling to juggle all the dishes. Overall, just didn't get it and definitely won't be going back. So disappointing after all...
Can't wait to travel to Brisbane again to come back here! From the moment we walked in and were seated we felt so welcome. From the friendly staff / service to the awesome atmosphere and rustic vibe, to the awesome food, everything was perfect... Food was all delicious and relatively cheap for high end Asian. We ordered 5 dishes and loved them all. Would highly recommend. Great large servings and most importantly so yum and fresh!
Been here few times, they are amazing. I had most tasty Chinese food here, even it is not hosted by Chinese.
Recommend the fish, which is flavored with Sichuan chili, it is just spicy enough for people stay Sichuan years like me.
Also the fried rices and noodles here, really good.
Hidden location but great environment. All the food is prepared by a caucasion chef but to Asian standards. Dishes are perfected and you will receive great customer service here. Defiantly book a table in advance.

The food is amazingly.The pork belly melts in your mouth. The fried beans with pork are yummy and fresh. Roast duck divine xx Love all the food we ordered Great service. Great atmosphere.
