We’ve been coming here for years and they never disappoint. The breakfasts in particular are delicious and fortunately they are served all day; the French toast, pancakes and Eggs Benedicts are particularly lovely. Today I had the Huevos Rancheros from the specials, which is so tasty. It’s a lovely family run restaurant, service is quick and everyone is friendly I really don’t understand the comments about rudeness given by other visitors as I’ve not had that in 6 years. Whether you want coffee and cake or a slap up meal, you can’t go wrong with Harrison’s.
Eaten here before but couple of years ago and was good. Family group, two of us had classic breakfast, the eggs looked like they had been under a hot lamp for hours, the bacon was cold and hard, the sausages were average at best. One of us had a veggie breakfast the sausage was so salty that she couldn’t eat it. The worst things was the coffee it bordered on being undrinkable certainly wouldn’t have a refill. Staff were friendly and perhaps we should have complained at the time but had kids with us and didn’t want to worry them.
On arrival we thought we were in a nightclub as the music wasn’t very appropriate for the morning. We thought there was heavy drilling outside but then realised it was the coffee machine. We couldn’t even hear ourselves speaking as it was so loud. When our coffee arrived, it didn’t actually taste very nice. It is a dog friendly restaurant but they didn’t provide a dog water bowl for them inside. We waited too long for our drinks to arrive. However the food was very good and enjoyable. Will return for the food.
I believe this was the best café I have ever visited. Everything was perfect for both myself and my wife. The food was excellent, generous, and delicious. The coffee and tea were outstanding, and the service was impeccable. When I asked one of the staff members how they would describe their establishment, they said it was a "gastro café." I would have to agree with that assessment. I had a vegan meal while my wife opted for a more traditional dish, and we were both very happy to have discovered this place.

The Full Monty breakfast was very disappointing, £12.75 for a small breakfast which came with 1 hash brown a rip off. Order the chips and yiu might get a breakfast worth £12.75. I used to rate this place but I was so disappointed I won’t bother again. They are ripping off people when times are hard and that’s unforgivable and NO I didn’t leave a tip
I visited this restaurant and the male employee with blonde hair was listening to music and acting very rude. When I asked him to take my order, he said 'one sec' and walked away. After about 10 minutes, he returned, sniffed me, and then walked off again. I will not be going back to this place!
I visited this restaurant while visiting a patient at the hospital across the street. The interior was a bit cold, and it seemed like the extractor fan wasn't turned on as there was a strong smell in the air. My hot meal was served on a cold plate. The waitress was friendly though.
We came in for a takeaway, the man on the counter who served us was rude. We bought 4 sausage baguettes 2 teas and 2 coffees and was charged £32. They weren’t even nice, won’t be going back.

i visited this restaurant on many occasions because the food is fantastic but the thing that really annoys me is the staff customer acknowledgement is poor
Thank you for a much needed brunch delicious! Staff are so friendly and loved my dog! Great spot in Hove! A must visit!
